Tickets are now on sale from our Tickets page for our summer mystery anthology, The Thirteenth Mystery, featuring:

• A classic episode of Lux Radio Theater, The Thin Man, written by George Wells and Sanford Barnett, adapted by Jeremy Holstein!
• The gentleman thief Arsène Lupin in a new adaptation by Michael Lin, The Black Pearl!
• And Trifles, by Susan Glaspell, adapted for audio drama by Phoebe Roberts!

Tickets and reservations are now available for our spring show — local author Michael Lin’s Cold-War spy thriller, “Women Behind the Curtain”, accompanied by our recreation of the 1948 radio play “The Outcasts”.

In Michael Lin’s original spy thriller “Women Behind the Curtain”, directed by Jay Sekora, a French spy in the Soviet Union finds unexpected allies — and unexpected enemies!

And in “The Outcasts”, directed by Kitty Drexel, a group of homeowners wonder whether prospective homebuyers are the kinds of neighbors they want — and one of them has to decide whether to risk speaking her mind.

The Post-Meridian Radio Players, based in Eastern Massachusetts, is seeking one to two original script adaptations of the novels or short stories of H.G. Wells. PMRP’s work pays homage to the golden age of radio, and our productions take place as staged readings before a live audience, with sound effects performed live. Since 2006, we have brought original and public domain radio plays to life in our distinctive format, which includes script-in-hand actors and live foley artists.

Our 2024 Halloween anthology will honor the science fiction works of author H.G.Wells. We are inviting submissions of 50–60-minute adaptations of Wells’ novels or 25–30-minute adaptations of Wells’ shorter works. Submission is free, and playwrights can submit more than one adaptation, so long as all are H. G. Wells’ canon.

PMRP is holding a Foley 101 for anyone interested in learning how live sound-effects are made. We'll teach you how we do Foley here at PMRP and give you a chance to try out the effects yourself.

We're holding our Foley 101 on Saturday, February 24 at 1-3 PM at Guild Church, Somerville.
