There are two more chances to see Metropolis, at Mosesian Center for the Arts' black-box theater in Watertown! This is a great space in a wheelchair-accessible venue with ample free parking nearby! Also, this summer we will be presenting Jeremy Holstein's original adaptation of the very first Sherlock Holmes adventure ever, A Study in Scarlet this summer, and audition signups are now open! Auditions will be May 15th and 16th. Check our Auditions page for more information (including available roles).

And on May 7th, we’ll be participating in the Boston Theater Marathon! Tickets are available to watch in-person or streaming online. Our ten-minute script is “Family Business” in the 2pm slot.

We are very excited to be performing an original full-length staged radio drama adaptation of the classic silent film Metropolis, and tickets and reservations are now available!

Metropolis will have four performances in Davis Square on April 20-22 (including a pay-what-you-can matinée), and two performances in Watertown on April 28 and 29. How to buy tickets (or make reservations) depends on which performance you’re attending, so head to our Tickets page for the details!

The Post-Meridian Radio Players are proud to announce our spring show: an original full-length adaptation of the science-fiction classic, Metropolis! (Turning a silent film into radio drama? We’ve done it before!) There will be six performances in late April 2023: four in our familiar venue, Boston Brunch Church, near Davis Square, Somerville, and two at the Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown. This is an ambitious show with a large cast and crew, and besides voice performers and Foley artists (live sound-effects performers) we’ll need a lot of help behind the scenes (and probably understudies). The audition signup form is also where you can tell us if you're interested in behind-the-scenes positions.

At ArtBeat 2022 (or whenever you like!) you can take our audio-drama walking tour, Strange Tales of Davis Square, featuring ultra-short audio dramas about the history of various places around Davis Square! And then the following Thursday the 21st through Saturday the 23d, you can come hear our summer mystery show, Riddle of the Super Sleuths live in Davis Square. Masks and proof of vaccination will be required. You can make a reservation or buy tickets in advance on our Tickets page.

The PMRP Summer Mysteries return this July 21-23 with Riddle of the Super Sleuths! Three new mystery audio dramas performed live, featuring three detectives (or their villains!), hosted by Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson. You can buy tickets in advance or reserve a seat and pay at the door on our Tickets page, or learn more about the show on its event page.

Important: We will be requiring masks and proof of COVID vaccination at the door.

• The gentleman thief Arsène Lupin returns in the new adaptation by Michael Lin, The Seven of Hearts!
• Doctor Watson and Inspector Lestrade investigate a locked-room mystery for Sherlock Holmes in The Adventure of the Sleeping Cardinal, an original play by Jeremy Holstein!
• And an original mystery by Phoebe Roberts, The Lost Days of Mrs. Neele!

There will be four performances on July 21-23, 2022 — evening performances on all three days, with a matinée as well on Saturday the 23d.

On Saturday, February 19, PMRP will be presenting Sherlock Holmes in “Sherlock Holmes in the Adventure of the Bruce Partington Plans” at Boskone 59. A Boskone membership is needed to attend or view the performance, which will be presented in person in the hotel (in the Harbor I room) and streamed over Boskone’s streaming service for virtual con attendees.

In this performance, Sherlock's brother Mycroft hires Holmes and Watson to investigate a crime that threatens the security both of the crown and of England! Starring Andrew Harrington as Sherlock Holmes and Chris Chiampa as Doctor Watson, in a new adaptation by Jeremy Holstein. See this page for additional credits.

Tickets and reservations are now available for our Halloween show! Not only will we be adapting the horrifying — in at least one way — classic Ed Wood film “Plan 9 from Outer Space”, but we’ll be pairing it with an original prequel fiasco, “Plan 8 from the Outer Ether”! And we’re so excited to be able to do a show in person again! (Masks and proof of vaccination will be required for the audience; all cast and crew are fully vaccinated and house crew will be masked.)
